AOSPR President's Message

Dear Distinguished Friends and Participants,

You are cordially invited to participate in the 18th Asian & Oceanic Society for Paediatric Radiology (AOSPR) Congress and the 16th Annual meeting of ISPR.  This exciting event will be held in PGIMER Chandigarh, India on 14-16 September 2018.

The main theme of AOSPR 2018 Congress covers broadly all areas pertaining to pediatric radiology including focused sessions and workshops on ultrasound and MRI.  A clinico-radiological-pathological session will also being organized, where in apart from clinical and radiological findings, correlation with pathological findings will be discussed. Special sessions on future of Pediatric Radiology, including potential fellowship opportunities and role of WFPI in global arena will also be covered. There will be a lot of key note speakers from both overseas and local faculties. Amongst the International faculty, we are going to have speakers from USA, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Australia and New Zealand etc. This congress will bring together distinguished experts and participants in the specialty to share their experiences, professional knowledge and practices in Pediatric Radiology. We also hope to create an opportunity for building network and trust relationships internationally.

Chandigarh, the venue for our conference is known as the 'City Beautiful'. The master plan of the city was prepared by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier. Chandigarh is a city and a union territory in India that serves as the capital of both neighboring states of Haryana and Punjab. It is internationally known for its architecture and urban design. Chandigarh’s Capitol Complex was declared by UNESCO as World Heritage in July 2016. This is an opportunity to visit this beautiful city, where you will find a harmonious blend of culture, arts and architecture.
